Our Hockey Club is run purely on a voluntary basis by people who have a passion to continue to develop and grow hockey for our local community. The more people we have that are willing to contribute to these efforts, the more successful we will be.
There are no restrictions to how you can contribute to the Club.
Get qualified as a coach (we can offer level 1 coaching courses for all interested parties, we just need to know who would like to take the course).
Get qualified as an umpire. Love 'em or loathe 'em, we all know that there would be no hockey without 'em! We can offer umpiring courses for all interested parties, we just need to make up the numbers to enable a course to be run at the Club. Get in touch if you are interested!
Website Development. I know that there must be some budding website designers out there that could help us out by sprucing up our website a little! Specifically, we would love someone to develop a much sexier CSS that we can use on the current site. Also, if you want to lend a hand by becoming a contributing editor, let us know!
Contribute to the running of the Club. The Exec committee could always do with a hand. If you feel you would like to help with fixtures, coaching, membership, finances, communication, publicity, website or anything else, then please let us know.
Bring in some extra sponsorship. The club has lots of sponsorship opportunities available. If you know someone who may be interested in sponsoring the club in any way please contact our sponsorship co-ordinator and take a look at our sponsorship page on this website.
